Using the Shopping Cart
To purchase an item, simply click the "ADD TO CART' button next to the item. That puts it in your shopping cart and takes you to the Shopping Cart page, where you can view the items you have added to your cart. You can change the quantity of each item and remove items if you want. This is also the place to indicate size, color, or personalization. From your Shopping Cart, you can either check out or continue shopping. In order to Checkout, please review your order on the View My Cart page. When you are satisfied with your order, click "Checkout". Please remember that in order to insure they arrive as fresh at your house as when they leave the Diner, soft baked treats such as cakes and pupcakes require special attention to shipping, and must be sent 2nd Day Air and require refrigeration upon receipt. Be sure to click on this option for Shipping before Checkout.

Product Availability
If you order an item from Accessories or Pet Care that is currently out of stock, you will be notified by e-mail that the product is backordered, and will sometimes be given the option to replace the item with a different one (i.e. a different color).
To preserve freshness, soft-baked treats such as Special Occasion Cakes and Pupcakes must ship 2nd Day Air on Monday through Wednesday. Please allow up to a 48 hour period for these to be baked especially for your baby. We recommend ordering your cake several days ahead of the event to be sure it arrives without a problem. Other treats will be shipped Priority Mail Monday through Wednesday.
Payment Options
We accept online payment by Paypal or your preferred credit card. We offer the most secure website available with SSL encryption for your protection. If you prefer to pay by check or money order you may phone us at 1-205-655-8100 to place your order. Upon receipt of your check or money order there will be a 5 day waiting period for your check to clear the bank and your order will be shipped. Please keep this in mind when placing an order you wish to receive by a certain date. You may also order by mail at Dixie Dog Diner LLC, P.O. Box 804, Trussville, AL 35173. Be sure to include your mailing address, phone number, specific name of treats and any size, personalization or color preferences.
Sales Tax
There is no sales tax for shipments outside of Alabama. Sales tax is charged for orders shipped to Alabama at a rate of 9%.
Order Confirmation
When you place an order and provide your email address, you will get an e-mail confirmation that your order has been received. Be sure you enter your valid e-mail address correctly at Checkout so that you can receive your e-mail confirmation and notices.
Order Tracking
Once your order is made, packed and shipped you will receive a tracking number by which you can monitor your order.
Changing or Cancelling an Order
Since we use an automated order processing system, we probably will not be able to cancel or modify your order before it is processed. Therefore, any cancellation or change to your order usually will require return of merchandise or additional shipments. Please email Mommadog@DixieDogDiner.com as soon as possible with your request for cancellation or changes.
Returns Policy
Should an item you order not meet your expectations, you may return it for a refund of the purchase price, not including the shipping/handling charge within 15 days of the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, return it in new condition (no wear, tear or bite marks) and in original packaging. We will refund original purchase price. Shipping and Handling costs are not refundable. The only items which CANNOT BE RETURNED are our Special Occasion Cakes and Pupcakes, which are soft baked and do not contain preservatives. Pet owners are responsible for knowing their dogs' likes, dislikes and allergies.
*Treats: Treats that come in their own packaging or bags and have been opened are not returnable. All of our treats have been taste tested and given 2 paws up of approval by our official taste testers. What one dog likes another may not, so pass it along to a favorite friend.
*General Returns: If the item smells like or looks like it has been used by a dog, is dirty, or in a condition we cannot sell as new, we will not provide a refund.
*Exchanges: If you ordered the wrong color e-mail us for instructions on how and where to return item, and we will be glad to exchange the item in new condition for another color. You may re-place the order, we will credit your account for the old one and charge your account for the new one.
Pack your return securely in the original packaging if possible and include a copy of the invoice/packing slip. If you are not able to use original packing or do not have original packing slip, please include the following information: Bill to name, address and phone number; if different the ship-to-name, address and phone number and the order number. State your reason for return and requests.

Remember that none of our treats have any added preservatives. If you will not be at home to accept shipment, we suggest having them sent to a business address. Please remember that Special Occasion Cakes and Pupcakes are soft baked, need a 48 hour window to bake and personalize and require 2nd Day Air shipment to insure high quality standards. All others are shipped USPS Priority Mail, as we believe this is the most cost effective and efficient for customers. We ship Mondays through Wednesdays. UPS 2nd Day Air requires a street address not a P.O. Box. We only ship within the United States at this time.
